Leadership Team

Salem UMC utilizes a simplified leadership structure. Our leadership team consists of 15 members who serve on the team for 3 years. Each member serves as part of the traditional committees of administration, finance, trustees, and staff-parish relations (SPRC). Members rotate off in sections so that 5 new members join each year. A separate nominating committee works with the pastor to fill any open positions and present those nominations during annual charge conference held with the AR UMC Central District Superintendent each fall. The Leadership Team meets the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm. Currently this meeting is held in the Fellowship Hall with zoom option available. These meetings are open for anyone to attend although only the voting members are those listed below. To request zoom information to attend the meeting, please fill out the form below.
