Pastor Heath started his ministry at Salem UMC on July 1, 2025 and came to us most recently from Primrose UMC in Little Rock and Levy UMC in North Little Rock. His wife Reverend Jeanne Williams is also a United Methodist pastor and is serving as an associate pastor at First United Methodist Church in Benton. They have three children:  Natalie (14), Marcus (8) and Eli (6).

Pastor Heath is originally from Alabama but grew up in Little Rock. He is an avid sports fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Dallas Stars Hockey, and St. Louis Cardinals. Other hobbies include watching movies, listening to muse/podcasts, reading, cooking, and grilling/smoking meats.

Three things Pastor Heath values about pastoral ministry in The United Methodist Church are: 1) the blessings he has received in working hand-in-hand with the laity in making disciples of Jesus Christ through ministries that energize the laity, 2) seeing individual lives transformed by studying God's Word and how it affects everything else we do in life, and 3) creative ministry opportunities - he enjoys thinking outside the box in how we reach new disciples in the community.
