Salem Camp Meeting

July 31 - August 4

6:30 pm nightly service

Saline county is full of history with the Salem Campground and the heart. Annual camp meetings are a type of outdoor revival meeting that various denominations gather to fill ecclesiastical and spiritual needs for different populations as they moved west. In the Salem community, the Salem Campground has been home of the Salem Camp Meeting as early as 1837. We are home to an open air arbor that has been a part of Saline county history.

For a full history of Salem Camp meeting and details be sure to check out their website and facebook group.

The nightly services will be live streamed from the Salem UMC facebook page. There will also be a live feed showing in the sanctuary for those that are sensitive to heat.
